Our purpose

The project follows Nigerian material from crystal and locality through sorting, cutting, testing and the finished market. Its standard is simple: publish what is known, label what is reported and leave room for what remains uncertain.

The site does not claim mine ownership, laboratory credentials, professional memberships or a physical retail location. Operator details will be added when approved by the owner.

A first-party archive

Original photographs, measurements, certificates, cutter notes, interviews and market records will form the centre of the site over time.

That archive is intended to help collectors make better decisions and give researchers a more precise public record of the material entering the trade.
