Four distinct evidence levels

Direct sourcing means the operator directly participated in the stated sourcing event. Dealer sourcing means material was acquired through the trade. Supplier provenance records what a supplier has represented. Laboratory-confirmed origin means a named laboratory has stated a geographic origin conclusion.

These categories are not interchangeable. “Direct from mine” is used only where that history is genuinely documented.

Product-page disclosure

Origin and treatment information is stated according to available laboratory reports and supplier provenance. Where independent laboratory confirmation is unavailable, this is clearly identified.

Documents, dates, stock numbers and photographs should remain linked to the relevant stone for as long as the record is retained.
